Outside of school hours care (OOSH)

Our school has an on-site outside of school hours care (OOSH) service, run by Primary OSHCare. This service operates before and after school and also provides care during school holidays and school development days, known as vacation care. At Peakhurst West OOSH, Primary OSHCare focuses on supporting each child’s growth and wellbeing through fun and engaging programs that encourage curiosity and a love of learning.

Before and after school care

Our before and after school OOSH service is available to all children who attend our school.

Hours

• Rise then Shine – Before School Care: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to bell time
• Stay and Play – After School Care: Monday–Friday, bell time to 6:00 PM

Our OOSH vacation care service is available to all K-6 children. You do not need to be enrolled at our school to attend our OOSH vacation care service.

• 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM during advertised school holiday periods.

OOSH fees

Primary OSHCare offers casual and permanent booking options for before and after school care, as well as full-day vacation care during the school holidays.

Rise then Shine – Before School Care
Casual: $19.00
Permanent: $17.00

Stay and Play – After School Care
Casual: $25.00
Permanent: $23.00

Holiday HQ – Vacation Care
Full Day Holiday Program: $58.00

Eligible families may receive the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which can significantly reduce the out-of-pocket cost of care. Fees will vary depending on each family’s CCS entitlement.

Fees After Govt. Subsidy are subject to individual family income. These are the out-of-pocket expense after the maximum CCS, hourly cap and 90% of CCS. Visit our CCS page to discover your applicable CCS percentage and use the online calculator.
