At Peakhurst West Public School, there is always something to look forward to! Our vibrant calendar of events brings our school community together through learning, sport, creativity, culture and celebration. From carnivals, performances and special celebrations to open days, excursions and community events, these experiences give students opportunities to build confidence, discover new strengths and create lasting memories. They also invite families to be part of the journey—celebrating achievements, sharing special moments and strengthening the connections that make Peakhurst West such a wonderful place to learn and belong.

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

Public Education Week Open day

Public Education Week Open day is an opportunity to welcome the community into the school to see what makes Peakhurst West such an amazing school.

The theme for Public Education Week 2026 has not yet been announced.

The theme for 2025 was "Ignite Your Potential."
