There is always something happening at Peakhurst West Public School! Every day brings new opportunities to learn, achieve, connect and celebrate. From outstanding achievements in the classroom, on the sporting field and on the stage, to exciting excursions, special events, community celebrations and those wonderful everyday moments that make school life memorable, we are proud to share the stories of our students and staff. A year at our school

Education Week Open Day

We welcome our families into our classrooms each year during Public Education Week. In 2025 we celebrated with a Creative Arts concert as well as Open classrooms.

Inclusive Sport

2025 marked the first year of PWPS competing in Inclusive Sport offerings of Boccia and Ten Pin Bowling. This is a sport opportunity for students with a disability.

In Boccia, the PWPS team made it to the State Finals where they finished 15th.

In Ten Pin Bowling, the PWPS made it to the State Finals and finished with a Bronze medal.

Combined Music Festival

In 2025, both the choir and senior dance group at PWPS participated in the Combined Music Festival at Bankstown Sports club. This event showcases talented students from local primary schools.
